this film is funny, well timed and structured quite well.
"Road to El Dorado" is full of character inconsistencies and
plot holes budget (75 million). "Pickle", on the other hand
achieves its' goal, entertaining the viewer without any of
these faults. I will venture one strucural criticism. The
friends were never "paid off". The plot could have been fluffed
up with the introduction of a "mentor". Perhaps the deli owner
could have guided the hero to follow his heart in the pursuit
of confirmation of his memebership (ouch) in the vastly shrinking
pool of heterosexuals in this world.
